Today, 12 September 2017, Hertfordshire’s newest equine veterinary practice launches its new Facebook and Twitter accounts. Supporting the Ballinger Equine website at ballingerequine.com, the practice Facebook page will carry news, views and updates to clients and the wider equine community. The @BallingerEquine Twitter account will lead with breaking news, practice developments and equine health alerts to engage with professional colleagues and horse and pony owners alike.
Social media is the fastest way to reach clients, friends and colleagues
Dr Susanna Ballinger said today: “Horse and pony owners are busy, active people. Like veterinary surgeons, they start their days early and finish late. We want to channel our communications and engagement in the best way for the equine community, and that typically means via their smartphones.”
Susanna added: “We know that there are times when horse and pony owners need to be alerted to important, breaking news as it happens and the @BallingerEquine Twitter feed will be invaluable in alerting followers immediately when a critical or infectious health issue arises.”
