This Easter bank holiday weekend, Hertfordshire’s foremost equine veterinary practice, Ballinger Equine, will as always, continue to provide full emergency and out-of-hours veterinary care. The practice’s own clinical team, will be on duty for emergencies, guaranteeing first-class service for our clients and continuity of care for all our patients.
24/7 Equine veterinary service throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding region this Easter bank holiday
Ballinger Equine, the region’s leading privately-owned equine veterinary practice is proudly independent of any corporate group. Providing equine veterinary excellence throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Epping Forest and North London, unlike many other practices, Ballinger Equine does not outsource its emergency and out-of-hours service. This means the veterinary surgeons our clients see during regular weekday visits continue to provide exactly the same expertise out-of-hours, including at weekends and bank holidays. All the veterinarians in the team are up-to-date with ongoing cases and have full access to all our patients’ clinical records out-of-hours. Practice Clinical Director, Dr Susanna Ballinger, leads her team 24/7, providing guidance and out-of-hours support.
It is so important not to delay urgent treatment should your horse or pony require it, and if you are in any doubt at all or you have a concern about the health of your horse over the holiday period, please be sure to call 01462 414008 at any time and consult one of our vets who will be happy to help.
Emergencies when out hacking, competing or showing
For clients taking advantage of the lovely Easter sunshine and competing, showing or out enjoying a hack in the spring countryside, if you need to call us with an emergency, remember to use What3Words to give us your exact location. Consider taking an equine first-aid kit with you in the 4×4, lorry or trailer – you never know when you’ll need it and our vets can talk you through administering first-aid to your horse or pony before they get to you, or to enable you to get your horse home in safety and comfort.
