Dr Susanna Ballinger is Ballinger Equine’s Clinical and Veterinary Director and has practiced equine veterinary medicine since qualifying at the University of Bristol in 1998 and being admitted to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the same year. Susanna is one of only 33 RCVS Advanced Practitioners in Equine Practice.
Highly regarded throughout the UK as a first-opinion equine veterinary surgeon, after eight years at C P Harris and Associates, in 2012 Susanna was appointed by Rossdales LLP to set up and manage Rossdales Hertfordshire. Following five successful years in charge of Rossdales Hertfordshire, Susanna became clinical director at Ballinger Equine, the new practice established by business partner and fellow director, Andrew Hillier. Susanna leads the veterinary team and is responsible for clinical matters at the practice.
Susanna is an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian and an accredited ARVS Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon.
Separately, and apart from practicing veterinary medicine, Susanna maintains an active interest in bloodstock and flat racing.
