Supporting PWPC 2021 Eventer Trial

Ballinger Equine is providing veterinary support and sole sponsorship for the Puckeridge Western Pony Club Eventer Trial 2021

Ballinger Equine is proudly supporting the return of equestrian grassroots competition in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions. The Puckeridge Western Pony Club eventer trial is to be held at Sue Underhill’s excellent cross-country venue at Bramfield on Sunday 16 May. Ballinger Equine is once again providing event sponsorship and veterinary cover throughout the competition.

A welcome return to competition – under COVID-19 guidelines

Participation in the all-day event is open to Pony Club members and non-members. Held in accordance with Pony Club 2020 Eventing rules, there are three classes running during the day, Novice, Intermediate and Open. In each class a course of eight showjumps will be jumped to be immediately followed by a course of twelve cross country fences finishing back in the showjumping arena for one final showjump. The courses are open for inspection from 10.00am on Saturday 15 May. Rosettes will be awarded for 1st to 8th in all classes.

Ballinger Equine has for several years sponsored and supported equestrian sport at the Underhill’s immaculate competition and training facility. Sue Underhill’s expertise means that courses can be designed for the beginner or turned into a series of technical challenges for the more experienced rider. The extensive grounds include showjumping facilities and plenty of parking for cars, horseboxes and trailers.

Ballinger Equine will be back at Bramfield on 5 September as sponsor and event veterinary surgeons for a second one-day-event.

Arrive – Compete – Leave

The event is being held ‘behind closed doors’ and no spectators are permitted other than the restricted number permitted to accompany each competitor. A number of bio-security measures are in place to ensure the event is COVID-19 Safe.
