Today’s (Sunday, 2 July 2023) annual Endurance GB pleasure ride at Luffenhall has once again proved a big success. A beautiful sunny early summer’s day, with cooling breezes in the fields, woodland and bridleways of rural Hertfordshire providing an idyllic setting for a relaxing Sunday ride with friends.

Nicki Harris, Gemma Grodkiewicz and their team, all seasoned Endurance GB competitors, planned and managed the friendly event with minimum roadwork, plenty of shaded field margins and even a lovely country pub situated on the route for participants to take a break and enjoy some welcome refreshment! Event catering was also available at the start and finish with drinks and hot and cold food for all. Local landowner and keen equestrian Mr Peter Natt generously hosted the event at Luffenhall, donating his fee to the charity.

Ballinger Equine is proud to sponsor and support this year’s event, following our involvement with previous rides in 2021 and 2022. As with previous years, crews travelled with their horses from all over the UK to participate.
Ballinger Equine dressed the field with their signature flags and awarded handsome rosettes to everybody who completed the course. The clinical team were on hand to answer questions, provide advice and check horses and ponies as required.
Everybody is already looking forward to next year’s annual ride and an opportunity to raise funds for a great cause whilst catching up, socialising and riding with friends from all over the UK.
