Today’s (Sunday, 3 July 2022) 20K pleasure ride at Luffenhall has proved a huge success. A beautiful sunny day, with the gentlest of breezes in the midst of rural Hertfordshire providing the perfect setting for a relaxing Sunday ride with friends.
Endurance GB pleasure ride
Nicki Harris, Gemma Grodkiewicz and their team, seasoned Endurance GB competitors, have planned and managed an excellent event with minimum roadwork, plenty of shaded field margins and even an excellent country pub situated on the route for some welcome refreshment. Thanks also to Peter Natt for generously hosting the event at Luffenhall, the perfect venue.

Ballinger Equine is proud to sponsor and support the event, following our involvement with last years’s Endurance GB Luffenhall Ride for Life. Less roadwork meant a more relaxing ride this year with plenty of riders taking advantage of the pub en route to stop and quench their thirst. Participants arrived from all over the UK, some camping on-site for a leisurely weekend.
Ballinger Equine dressed the field with their now signature flags and provided the stunning rosettes awarded to everybody who participated. Nicki and Gemma distributed well-filled Endurance GB goody bags to all riders at the finish.
Everybody is already looking forward to the event next summer, and an opportunity to catch up and ride with friends from all over the UK.
