Ballinger Equine is continuing to grow. Following expansion of the practice’s service area earlier this year and new appointments to the clinical team, the practice now seeks a Client Accounts Administrator to support the Practice Manager, Katie Branley.

The new junior role, which reports directly to the Practice Manager, is a permanent full-time appointment based at the practice offices in Halls Green, near Hitchin. Working hours are 0830hrs to 1700hrs, Monday to Friday. Applicants will have an excellent telephone manner and first-class written and interpersonal communication skills. A high standard of personal presentation is required at all times. The new position is office-based and whilst there will be no contact with patients, there will be regular and frequent liaison with clients, the Ballinger Equine clinical team, professional colleagues and insurance claim managers. Attention to detail is paramount as is strict adherence to GDPR, client confidentiality and data security.
Candidates are likely to be educated to degree level and/or have relevant experience. Microsoft Office suite skills are essential as is an appreciation of the requirement for statistical accuracy. Knowledge of, and familiarity with, horses and ponies and an active interest in equestrian sport is highly desirable. This new, entry-level role represents a super first step on the career ladder for a positive, enthusiastic self-starter.
