Dressage Rider

Katie is a dressage rider based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. She is currently competing her own horse, Buntino, a 10 year-old Belgian Warmblood X ISH by Caretino Glory, at British Dressage Advanced Medium level and has just attained entry for Prix St Georges. 

Katie previously enjoyed show jumping and eventing before concentrating on dressage. Her career highlights include attending the British Dressage Area Festival National Championships on 5 occasions and representing England and British Dressage Eastern at the Senior Home International in 2017, 2018 and 2019 up to Advanced Medium level. Katie has also won four Pony Club National Dressage titles.

Whilst at University, Katie was the Captain of the Cambridge University Equestrian Blues (1st) Team and competed for them in the Varsity Match at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on 2 occasions. She left Cambridge with an Equestrian ‘Full Blue’.

Katie has qualified for the Winter Regional Championships in Medium Freestyle and the Area Festivals at Advanced Medium. Meanwhile, in a stunning start to the season, Katie has already achieved her aims for 2021 which included qualifying to compete at Prix St George and qualifying for the British Dressage Area Festivals at Advanced Medium.
