Support for Pony Club Eventer Trial

pwpc-eventer-trial-may-2019

Ballinger Equine is proud to support the Puckeridge Western Pony Club eventer trial to be held at Sue Underhill’s excellent cross-country venue at Bramfield on Sunday 12 May. The practice is providing event sponsorship and veterinary cover throughout the competition.

Exciting competition in a fabulous venue

Participation in the all-day event is open to members and non-pony club members. Held in accordance with Pony Club 2019 Eventing rules, there are three classes running during the day, Novice, Intermediate and Open. In each class a course of eight showjumps will be jumped to be immediately followed by a course of twelve cross country fences finishing back in the showjumping arena for one final showjump. The course is open for inspection from 2.00pm on Saturday 11 May and there is excellent spectator viewing across the venue during the competition. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on the lead at all times.

2019 is Ballinger Equine’s second year sponsoring and providing veterinary cover for equestrian sport at the Underhill’s immaculate competition and training facility. Sue Underhill’s expertise means that courses can be designed for the beginner or turned into a series of technical challenges for the more experienced rider. The extensive grounds include showjumping facilities and plenty of parking for cars, horseboxes and trailers.

Ballinger Equine will be back at Bramfield on 1 September as sponsor and event veterinary surgeons for a second one-day-event. In the meanwhile the coming summer sees Ballinger Equine sponsoring and providing equine veterinary cover for a number of equestrian sporting and leisure events including the Riding For the Disabled Hertfordshire and Essex Border Group sponsored ride at Benington, the Ballinger Equine/Chesfield Manor Summer Showjumping Championship series, the Ivel Valley Pony Club Championship Show on 30 June and the British Horse Society sponsored ride in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
