Ballinger Equine has launched its comprehensive new equine first-aid kit. With the premium grade contents carefully selected by our veterinary surgeons, the kit is specifically designed to be a compact and easily carried emergency resource for all horse and pony owners and grooms.

The new equine first-aid kit comes complete in its own smart weather-resistant rucksack. The rucksack features two-way zips for ease of access, a padded back, separate zipped front pocket, adjustable shoulder straps and a carrying/hanging loop, great for hanging in a quick-to-reach place in the lorry, a 4×4 or tack room.

The kit itself comprises high quality essentials chosen by our veterinary surgeons: Hibiscrub®, digital thermometer, bandage (EMT) shears, cotton wool, Gamgee® (30cm), Soffban® x 2, non-adherent dressings (2 x large, 2 x small), dosing syringe, duct tape, Vetwrap™ x 2, poultice, Latex gloves (10), Aluspray®, Manuka honey sterile wound ointment/hydrogel, Knit Firm x 2, E-Band elastic adhesive bandage and the Ballinger Equine veterinary guide to use of contents.

The kit is available for sale now via the online pharmacy or by ‘phoning the Ballinger Equine office on 01462 414008.

This first-aid kit is ideal to take to equestrian events, shows and competitions where an equine first-aid kit may be specified as a requirement by the organisers. And it will make an excellent Christmas gift for any horse or pony owner.
