Ballinger Equine is supporting the Hertfordshire and Essex Border Riding for the Disabled group at its spring sponsored ride and barbecue. The event takes place from 10.00 am at Walkern Hall, Benington on Sunday, 12 May.
Route-marked rides through beautiful Hertfordshire countryside
In what promises to be a grand day out for all involved, all participants will receive rosettes, and cups will be awarded to those raising £100 or more in sponsorship. The 2019 sponsored spring ride features clearly marked routes of 6 and 11 miles. Experienced stewards, first aiders and a doctor will be on hand. And, of course Ballinger Equine will be on-call throughout the event for emergency veterinary care.
There will also be a fab spring ride barbeque so there’ll be no need to go hungry. An application form for the ride and barbecue may be downloaded here. Be sure to submit your completed entry form as soon as possible.
Andrew Hillier commented:
“Everybody at Ballinger Equine is thrilled to support the RDA ride at Benington again in 2019. The RDA is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and this sponsored ride is a terrific opportunity to meet up with friends, ride in good company through the beautiful spring countryside and enjoy a barbecue feast. And all whilst raising funds for the RDA!”
Ample parking will be available at Walkern Hall. Benington is 4 miles east of Stevenage and off the A507 between Buntingford and Baldock. The event will be signed from the centre of Benington.
