As is our tradition, Ballinger Equine will provide an uninterrupted, out-of-hours emergency service throughout the Christmas and New Year Holiday period. The Ballinger Equine practice office at East Barn will close for the Christmas Day and Boxing Day Bank Holidays on Wednesday, 25 and Thursday, 26 December respectively and for the New Year’s Day Bank Holiday on Wednesday, 1 January 2024. However, our own team of veterinary surgeons will remain on duty throughout the holidays ensuring continuity of care for your horse or pony.

Ballinger Equine is a proudly independent practice with no corporate links. And unlike a growing number of veterinary practices, Ballinger Equine operates its own in-house, round-the-clock emergency service. We don’t outsource our out-of-hours service or hire locum support. Our regular clinical team ensures continuity of care is guaranteed no matter what the weather or time of day or night. Orders placed on the Ballinger Equine online shop will be processed immediately the office opens after the date the order is placed. Please bear in mind Parcelforce’s Christmas and New Year bank holiday delivery restrictions and any delays that may result.
New client registrations, emailed general enquiries and requests for visits and pre-purchase examinations will all be attended to during office open hours.
