Everybody at Ballinger Equine is pleased to welcome Dr Charlotte Batson BVSc MRCVS to the clinical team. Charlotte is the latest addition to our veterinary staff, joining her new colleagues Sophie, Harriett Eleanor and Clinical Director, Susanna Ballinger.
Local knowledge and familiarity with the region’s horse-owners
Charlotte’s home is Bedfordshire and she knows the region well. Through her involvement with her local Young Farmers’ Club and having owned and ridden her own pony since she was eight years old, Charlotte is already acquainted with many of our clients and their horses and ponies.
Charlotte graduated with a BVSc from the University of Liverpool School of Veterinary Science, where she also served as Vice President of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.

In the coming weeks Charlotte will be working closely with Dr Ballinger who is introducing her to our clients and their super horses and ponies. So be sure to keep a look out and give her a warm welcome when you see her.
Away from work, Charlotte is a keen netball player and enjoys riding, swimming, skiing and hiking, and only last year completed the Yorkshire 3-Peaks challenge with her brother. Charlotte is currently training, and trying to keep up with, her very energetic 18 month-old Border Terrier, Finlay.
