Ballinger Equine, the region’s foremost independent first-opinion ambulatory equine veterinary practice, continues to grow and now seeks a qualified, experienced veterinary nurse to appoint to an important new role. We wish to recruit a Practice Clinical Administrator to work alongside our great team in the practice office.
A super opportunity for an experienced, qualified veterinary nurse who wishes to develop skills beyond patient care
Clinical excellence, integrity, horse welfare and outstanding client service are at the heart of what we do. In a sector dominated by large corporates, Ballinger Equine stands out as proudly independent. Based in modern, spacious open-plan offices in a tranquil rural setting, we are an agile, efficient, professional services firm with a streamlined decision-making hierarchy.
We offer an opportunity to an experienced veterinary nurse who is looking to develop their clinical administrative skillset with support and guidance in a happy, collegiate environment. Experience from within the equine sector is certainly advantageous, and effective, professional, good-humoured client management is essential, as is recognising that accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in a clinical administrative setting.
Candidates will have an abundance of common sense, a strong work ethic, and mature, empathetic client communication skills. This particular position does not feature hands-on patient care, rather it focusses on specialist administrative support for clinical aspects of the business.
Be an ambassador for excellence in equine veterinary medicine
At a time of impending change in veterinary medicine in the UK, Ballinger Equine is looking for a health professional who shares our commitment to excellence.
Ballinger Equine – a great place to work
Ballinger Equine is a great place to work. We are located in beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. Yet the local road and rail links mean we are but a short hop from Cambridge, London or St Albans. Hertford, Welwyn and Ware are all close by. We have a happy, supportive and very friendly team who all love what they do.
Flexibility for outstanding candidates
The new position is permanent, full-time and is office based five-days-per-week. The nature of the job means remote working is not an option. Remuneration is good and based on qualifications and experience. And for a truly outstanding candidate we may be willing to discuss part-time hours.
