Laura gained her BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science at the Royal Veterinary College before graduating as a Veterinary Surgeon from the University of Surrey with First Class honours. She has relocated with her partner to Hertfordshire to join the Ballinger Equine team.
Growing up in Berkshire, Laura was introduced to the veterinary world by her mother, a veterinary nurse, who filled the house with pets. She often enjoyed hand-rearing foster kittens from Cats Protection, including her family cats Sid and Oscar, who were so loved they became permanent fixtures.
Laura has been riding since the age of two and has had many ponies throughout the years. Currently she owns Sammy, a grey Connemara, who loves a hack to the pub and will do anything for food.
Away from work, Laura enjoys escaping to the coast whenever she can for some fresh sea air and a hearty portion of fish and chips!
