Having grown up in Essex, Harriett knows the area well and is acquainted with many of Ballinger Equine’s clients and their horses and ponies. Harriett spent much of her childhood in the local pony club and and as well as spending time with horses, she was a keen swimmer, competing at national level in swimming competitions around the country.
Harriett graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Veterinary College and then moved to practice in Wales. Harriett moved back from Wales to join the clinical team at Ballinger Equine, where her special interests are in equine lameness and diagnostic imaging.
Outside of her working life, Harriett enjoys spending her time playing the piano, attending classes at the local gym and baking. She enjoys riding whenever she can and runs in the lighter evenings – often accompanied by Bonnie, the family Cocker Spaniel. She also has two cats, Frederick and Molly, who will eat everything and anything accessible.
