Basil is Ballinger Equine’s much loved Special Assistant and a key member of the team. He can be found in the office where he works closely with Andrew and Parsley assisting them with business development strategy, marketing, communications and financial management. His special admin talent is shredding. He more typically accompanies Clinical Director, Dr Susanna Ballinger, on her visits to patients throughout the East of England and on pre-purchase examinations across the UK.
Basil’s dignified presence is disguised by his boundless energy, enthusiasm and friendliness. Well known to Ballinger Equine’s clients, he is always happy to say hello. Away from work, Basil is an intrepid explorer and regularly accompanies Andrew and Parsley on long treks through the Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk countryside. Highly intelligent and agile, Basil is a pedigree Poodle, the original German water retriever breed and his hunting instincts are ever present on his rural adventures.
