Strangles is a cause for concern amongst horse and pony owners as we are all only too well aware of the implications of the infection resulting from Streptococcus equi subsp. equi. The reassurance and peace-of-mind gained from having your horse or pony vaccinated to protect against infection with Strangles is priceless. Ballinger Equine is today launching a new Strangles vaccination initiative with a special offer for clients.
Book your new Strangles vaccination course for February and get 50% discount on the second vaccination
Spring will soon be on the way, bringing opportunities for shows, events, competitions, or an enjoyable hack with friends in new surroundings. Taking preventative steps both at home and when out and about with your horse or pony can make a huge difference to protecting against Strangles. On a yard, the best approach is of course to implement a clear, concise agreement that everyone understands and can work with.
Strangles is worrying and certainly the costs of sensible precautions against the disease are significantly less than the cost of treatment once it takes hold. So now is the perfect time to prepare for getting out and about by starting a new vaccination course against Strangles infection (Streptococcus equi).
During the month of February, Ballinger Equine is raising awareness of the dangers associated with Strangles. We are also highlighting the benefits of vaccinating against the disease. When you book your new Strangles vaccination course to start in February, we are offering the second vaccination at half-price (when it is booked together with the first vaccination).
An even bigger discount when you sign up with friends
A unified whole-yard approach to protecting against Strangles infection is the most effective strategy and so if five or more horses are vaccinated at the same time on the same yard, we will waive our usual visit fee for those five vaccinations.
